How do I connect a QBO entity?
Click the "+ Connect Entity" button in the top navigation. You'll be redirected to Intuit's authorization page where you can select the QBO company to connect. After authorization, the entity will appear in your Entities list.
What is an IC pair?
An IC pair is a relationship between two connected QBO entities that have intercompany transactions. For example, "Holdings ↔ Operating Co" where each has Due To / Due From accounts for the other. All matching and journal entry work happens within a pair's workspace.
How does auto-matching work?
Auto-match looks for transactions across both entities with the same amount and opposite posting types (debit vs credit) within a configurable date tolerance. When a match is found, it's suggested for your review before being confirmed.
What happens when I push a journal entry?
When you push a JE, DueToFrom creates a JournalEntry object in the target QBO entity via the API. The entry uses the entity's own Chart of Accounts, with the IC account on one side and your selected offset account on the other. A QBO reference ID is stored for audit trail purposes.
Can I undo a pushed journal entry?
DueToFrom does not delete JEs from QBO. To reverse a pushed entry, you would create a reversing entry in QBO directly or push a new offsetting entry through DueToFrom.
Is my data secure?
Yes. OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest with AES-256. All connections use TLS 1.2+. We follow Intuit's security requirements for App Store applications. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Go to Billing in the navigation and use the customer portal to manage or cancel your subscription. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period.
Can I disconnect a QBO entity?
Yes, go to the Entities page and click "Disconnect" on any entity. This revokes the OAuth tokens and stops all data access. Note that disconnecting an entity will affect any IC pairs that include it.
